Case Study – Individual Financial Report

The finance director of BROWN recently engaged our firm with the mandate to provide them with an explanation of the cash flow problem that the company has been facing. The key concerns of BROWN are the cash flow problems and it’s also dependent on the parent based in Australia for funds, as and when required.

This report, therefore, aims to provide an explanation to BROWN Limited on the best way to expand the business and raise the required capital in the UK, or Europe, so as not to depend so much on cash coming from the parent company all the time. The report is divided into seven important sections. The first section explains the different sources of funds that are open to the company. Section two evaluates the company’s investment proposals using NPV. The next section highlights the use of management tools, breakeven analysis, and budgets. These two are then used in the next section to computes the breakeven analysis and cash budget of the business for the first 3 months. Section five provides an evaluation of the estimated company performance for the period. Section six provides a detailed literature review of the tools utilized in this report; breakeven analysis and budgets and their relevance to BROWN limited.
