Allow me to begin by echoing the great words of Henry Ford that “working together is a beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is a success.” As a group, we had a wonderful way of learning about the community capital framework. First, to ensure that we were on the same level as a group, we decided each do an independent review of the aspect of the framework for two days.
We split up the roles with each member of our group required to effectively contribute to both the discussion and report writing of the group. In this aspect, Zayna did the introduction and background of America’s Cup. We tasked Yu with the literature review while Vicki’s roles involved ensuring that the group was organized through proper time management, making sure that tasks were finished within time. Vicki also did the conclusion, editing, and proofreading of the report. On the other hand, Jacob was tasked with exploring the human, social and political capitals of the CCF and how these three applied to America’s Cup. To ensure that we all moved together, we helped each other whenever it was necessary.
