Leaders Change Management Evaluation

The literature on organizational change leadership is largely dominated by leadership models and successful change. However, leadership in an organization continues to be elusive (Kotter, 1995). Leadership is a process. Leaders utilize their skills and knowledge to lead and bring followers in the desired direction that is relevant to their organization’s objectives. An effective leader with strong leadership skills must also possess other characteristics necessary for change such as passion, consistency, trust, and vision that build trust in employees necessary. This paper evaluates change management about leaders Jeff Bezos and Steve Jobs. It highlights the change processes the leaders have been involved with and apply findings of the change process from four analytical tools developed for this study.
